Feelnubia Returns: Reclaiming Africa\u2019s Narrative, One Story at a Time<\/h2>\r\n

Dear Feelnubians,<\/p>\r\n

In 2010, I launched Feelnubia<\/a> with a bold mission: to give Africa its rightful place in global consciousness. Back then, it was clear to me that Africans must occupy space unashamedly. We must take our place, not as guests in history, but as its original architects. We are not merely part of the story of the world. Africa is its genesis.<\/p>\r\n

Over the years, this digital sanctuary became a trusted reference point. Students, educators, researchers, and enthusiasts of African history read and cited our articles. From lecture halls to living rooms, we told our stories on our terms<\/a>, and our voices were heard.<\/p>\r\n

Then, as life often demands, we paused. For four years, our vibrant community was placed on hold. A dream tucked away.<\/p>\r\n

But then came 2024.<\/p>\r\n

New hands, renewed hope, and fresh energy revived this sacred space. And so, it brings me immense joy to say these words:<\/p>\r\n

Feelnubia is back!<\/strong><\/h2>\r\n

We are not just relaunching. We are reclaiming our pioneering role as a cultural and heritage clearinghouse. Our mission? To curate and share the global history, creativity, and contributions of Africans and the African diaspora with the next generation, using the digital tools, media, and platforms of today.<\/p>\r\n

Are you a thought-leader, visual artist, storyteller, historian, social commentator, or innovator? If your work celebrates the motherland, you are a part of Africa’s intelligentsia. FeelNubia is your home.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

The history of the black people is a tale of spectacular resilience, courage in the face of unimaginable adversity and TRIUMPH, all the while upholding her integrity, identity and obdurate value system. Africa has been maligned and preyed upon repeatedly over the course of human history. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her civilizations, contributions and culture of community have been plagiarized, disdained and discarded. Her cities and villages have been purloined, mothers and sisters raped and wealth carted off by armadas conveying men armed with strange and potent weapons. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For centuries, foreign palaces have been built on the strength of African backs, watered by the blood of her sons and embellished with riches from her belly. Today she is still reviled, attacked, disowned, denied. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through it all, is Africa unbowed? Does she survive? Does Africa hold fast to her faith…still? Then she is the head, not the tail; the victor, not the vanquished; her people a model of the true human spirit – the expressed image and likeness of the first-born of God!<\/em>“
