Power at the Altar of Unity
There is a trinity on earth that mirrors the Trinity in heaven. In heaven: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. On earth: Husband, Wife and Holy Spirit.
There is a potency of power that is available when two or three shall agree as touching anything. Our Lord Jesus Christ Himself said: “I also tell you this: If two of you agree here on earth concerning anything you ask, my Father in heaven will do it for you.” – Matthew 18:19 NLT
When we elicit that power of agreement and appropriate it on the altar of divinely backed covenant that exists between husband, wife, and the third person of the Trinity: Holy Spirit (the third braid in Eccl. 4:12), we bring to bear all the potency of the power in heaven, right here on earth, in our homes and marriages.
“Oh, what peace we often forfeit. Oh what needless pain we bear…”. When as couples, we bring our petitions to the Altar of Unity with this understanding, our prayer life will be radically transformed. What wonders we will see, what great harvest we will gather in, what grace we will inspire in our lives and in that of others.
A good Father delights to give His children good things. God is waiting.
