Theory of ‘Tiny’ White-Skin Mutation Deviancy and the Origin of Race Relations
Recent findings by a group of Penn State University scientists claim they have discovered a genetic mutation that explains the first appearance of white skin in humans tens of thousands of years ago. The scientists hurried to emphasize that the mutation was ‘tiny’, reiterating that humans of all races are 99.9% identical.
This finding offers a huge clue to race relations and behaviorists might argue that the fact that humans are intrinsically similar is actually of little consequence to the importance of these findings. The genetic code of Ben Carson might be 99.9% identical to that of fellow human Ben Johnson but it is unlikely that the latter would have been entrusted with darning a toddler’s sock let alone stitching up a teenager’s knee wound.
Leading international experts in social psychology have long explored the consequences of social exclusion on people’s emotions, actions, and reactions. They continue to examine the impact of ostracism and stigmatization on individuals who are rejected by society and how this relates to delinquency and social deviancy.
So step back with me if you will, to that day tens of thousands of years ago when the first mutant white skin appeared in a child. Imagine the shock of the family and the community. Perhaps the family was entreated to get rid of the pale-skinned child as was done to twin children in many parts of the old world until a few hundred years ago (the practice reportedly persists in some places, still). Perhaps the child grew up into an adult who attempted suicide or wished he had not been allowed to live rather than endure the ridicule and rejection of appearing different.
Imagine the emotions and reactions of such a child as he grew older and perhaps left home and that community in search of a place where he belonged – a place where he was not different. Although scientists have not explained the cause of the mutation, let us imagine that certain environmental factors triggered this condition and this was replicated in a number of nearby communities. Hence over time, the phenomenon became more frequent and more than a handful of white-skinned individuals were scattered through the land.
The scientists have also said they suspect that “sexual selection,” is responsible for the growth of the white-skinned populations. It is also possible that this sexual selection was actually more a consequence of necessity rather than choice. These individuals were probably unable to find mates within the mainstream populations for fear of stigmatization. What sort of community would be forged by such a people, who were forced into a community by circumstances beyond their control?
While the white skin mutation might have been only skin deep, the emotional consequences could easily have impacted so significantly on the psyches of the individuals that they formed a different world view to their original host communities. Could this tale of stone-age stigmatization of white skin mutation be responsible for some of the most glaring behavioral differences between the white race and the black race? Could the resulting ostracism have led to a culture of individualism, having been forced out of the collectivist culture of the original community? Could this same exclusion due to the physical appearance of the mutants have led to a perverse preoccupation with the appearance of things, manifesting in:
- An obsession with superficiality and a ‘polished’ appearance to the neglect of intrinsic qualities e.g. perfect, unblemished appearances are valued regardless of the state of the heart or emotions
- A desire to make white those things created brown by nature, hence the bleaching of staple foods such as rice, bread and sugar
- Controlling the expression of emotions in order to appear superior
Is it possible that this mutation theory holds the key to why white populations are evolving towards an external, superficial civilization based on a culture of individualism and a belief in things scientific and physical, resulting in some groups of people consuming the earth’s resources disproportionately with no respect for earth’s other inhabitants or regard for the long-term consequences of conspicuous consumption? In contrast, ancient and indigenous communities live in harmony with the earth and have been evolving for the past tens of thousands of years toward internal civilization and a growing appreciation for things unseen and spiritual, based on a collectivist culture and a respect for the universe?
It suddenly makes sense that the descendants of these poor excluded individuals would have an inexplicable desire to dominate and destroy the indigenous man – the original model of man. It explains the hunger for the conquest of indigenous races on every continent of the earth by the white race, the development of weapons of mass destruction and the attempt to wipe out all the evidence of its mutation by annihilating the very thing from which it came and yet to which it simply fails to attain: the original hue-man.
Reparations would be due, wont it? Descendants of the indigenous hue-man would need to apologize to the progeny of their ostracized white-skinned siblings for running their fore-fathers out of town amidst sniggers and cruel taunts. Maybe then the white man would apologize for slavery and neo-colonization. We can call it even and all live –finally – in peace and harmony.
